![](2008workshop/20080726/Img_5686.jpg) The gloss white goes up on the doors.
![](2008workshop/20080726/Img_5689.jpg) I spent some time cleaning up the old chest freezer. After 25 years of being a workbench, it was
pretty dirty. Most of the dirt and grime came off, but some of the paint is on there for the long haul.
![](2008workshop/20080726/Img_5694.jpg) My supervisor made a surprise visit to the job site.
![](2008workshop/20080726/Img_5695.jpg) After what seemed like and eternity, it was finally time to put up the wall color...a bright, light yellow.
![](2008workshop/20080726/Img_5702.jpg) Even sealed and primed, concrete walls use up a lot of paint.
![](2008workshop/20080726/Img_5704.jpg) The walls get two coats of paint. The paint looks glossy because it's still wet in this photo.
The final sheen is eggshell (between flat and satin).
![](2008workshop/20080726/Img_5705.jpg) I looked at a lot of pastel colors, but decided to go with yellow to brighten up what is essentially a
basement room. Plus, the yellow brings a little warmth to the fluorescent lights.
