After removing dirt, work begins on resurfacing the foundation wall. First a rinse...

Then the wall is allowed to dry.

A view from the pool deck. The last of the dirt was removed to prep for the mulch garden.

The foundation then got a generous coat of C-21 acrylic mixed 1:1 to seal the wall.

A brick chisel made short work of the old concrete lump. Any loose skim coat was also removed.

Two 80-pound bags of concrete finish later, the wall has a new face.

The products and the dealer I used were fantastic. Information available on request.

The finish was applied with a brick trowel and a finish trowel.
After a good set,
a damp sponge
was used to provide the final texture. The color will even out to a light gray as it sets fully.

The sod placed last weekend is doing well with twice daily watering.

The completed walkways have cured.
