It's finally time to paint the walls, but first, the windows are cleaned and the mullions reinstalled.

After cleaning the window hardware, I reinstalled it to finish off the window.

And now, some color. This is a greenish-tan called "harmonic tan" in flat finish.

The green complements the now-dry "smoky topaz" brown in the closet.

Taking the time to cut in carefully around outlets and windows really pays off.

The first coat is rolled on. This will be followed by a second coat.

The walls are allowed to dry for a couple of hours before the second coat.

The second coat is applied. Despite the claims of "one-coat" paints, nothing compares to the
coverage and color-depth of two carefully-applied coats.
