After a lot of preparation, it's finally time to add color to the project. For trim painting, I like to use
a hand-held trim paint bucket and a 2.5" angled brush.
Cutting in the room with "smoky topaz."
While I normally go with flat paint, in the closet I went with a more durable eggshell finish.
Cutting in wider around the door frame reduces the risk of hitting it with the roller.
The spots on the wall provide an extra coat of paint on the patched holes from the old closet system.
The first coat is on, soon to be followed with a second coat.
The second coat is applied and allowed to dry overnight.
