Hi everyone. Welcome back to Milkville Renovations, and a new project...the Office Project.
First, let's take a look at what the office used to look like.
I had already removed some of the furniture when I realized I hadn't taken the "before" pictures.
But this upstairs bedroom is where we've had our home office the last few years.
Everything is in pretty good shape, but it needed renovation to make it "un-beige."
Here, we're looking towards the hallway.
Behind the door to the hallway is a door to my walk-in closet. This will get a minor facelift.
A big chair used to occupy this corner of the room.
And, yeah...here we go again with the wallpaper. As much as I dread the work involved,
I can't wait to get rid of it. I've been staring at it for five years.
While the office is out of commission, I moved the old workstation downstairs to the corner of the
living room. We've had this natural, solid red oak mission style desk since 1997, and we still
love it...but we just need more room for a proper office.
Back upstairs, the room is empty and the work light returns. This window faces the street.
And the window on the left faces north.
Looking farther to the left, you see the hallway and the closet (hidden by the open door).
And my closet. Yes, this is the home of my polo shirt collection.
