With the walls primed and the ceiling painted, the trim gets a coat of "ostrich" -- an off-white.

The closet walls are painted "cottage white,"
which is very similar to the trim color.

The door frames, crown moulding and baseboards are all painted.

The windows also receive a coat of trim paint.

The old woodwork has new life.

After the paint was dry, the carpet is removed to make way for new wall-to-wall.

I typically finish the wall color before having carpet installed, but a scheduling conflict is causing
me to have the carpet installed first.
