The weather wasn't quite as sunny today, but work continued on the second bed.

The beds were separated by four feet to accommodate a walkway.

I decided to create the walkway by salvaging brick discarded by the former homeowner.

The frame of the second bed is constructed the same way as the first.

The composite posts are going in.

The aluminum strapping is installed in the second bed.

The beds are level, but the ground is not. The backs of the beds will be taller than the fronts.

The second bed is filled with garden soil. The dirt pile in the back is getting lower.

Work now turns to the walkway. First, the ground is graded and loose soil and stones removed.
