Focus turns to trimming out the bookcase. The top and bottom are trimmed out with 1x4 red oak.

I then installed fluted 1x3 upright stiles, and installed decorative crown details.

Next, the baseboard moulding is cut and installed to trim out the new left-hand wall.

The wide stock is topped with the decorative cap moulding to complete the baseboard.
