The walls are sanded smooth, and readied for the third, finishing coat of joint compound.

The walls look smooth and the corners are sharp.

The repaired ceiling corners are repaired and sanded.

Another small fix is needed...this time, to a crack under the window.

First, a piece of tape is placed to reinforce the new joint.

Before the bookcases are installed, I needed to relocate the wall outlet behind them. I was expecting
one wire. I found three, which meant I had to install a junction box.

You can't install a junction box inside a wall without access. However, the other side of the wall faces
into a dining room closet. By flipping the box around and installing it facing through a new hole,
I can wire it up and still have access to it in the future.
